From birth, you've been forced to be anything and anyone but who you really are. Altessa is the voice in the back of your head screaming to be unsilenced, the part of you that you choose not to wear to work or school. While the lies you tell yourselves are dark, sometimes the truth is even darker



A brand new band from Sacramento, California, Altessa stands apart from several other Rock and Metal acts by creating their own unique sound. Drawing from a vast range of influences such as Avenged Sevenfold to Escape the Fate, Pierce the Veil, Panic! At the Disco, Green Day, Owl City, Nero, and Disturbed, the band manages to maintain a musical edge over the competition with its catchy vocals, groovy rhythms, and bluesy leads. With band members from Thea Skotia and Defend the Outlaw, the band has the experience needed to write musically diverse and catchy songs that appeal to a wide audience. With the release of their newest single, Barely Alive, Altessa has proven they are ready to stand on their own, with their own unique style. However, the band hasn’t stopped there, they are preparing to head back into the studio to record the rest of their EP with Producer Nick Loiacono (Of Mice & Men, Picture Me Broken, As Artifacts). As if that wasn’t enough, Altessa continues to push forward, playing several different types of shows, from Rock shows, to Benefits, to Acoustic Shows, even planning a music video with Producer and Director Bryson Roatch (Papa Roach, Overwatch, Shanaz).
